Preparing for the Rite of Election
*During this rite, you will be called forward by name. You will be called the Elect of God. That means that you have been chosen by God and the Church to carry out the work of Jesus. We will celebrate the choice of you as Jesus’ follower in the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil. During this rite, you will write your name in the Book of the Elect.
