Jesus Says Respect
God’s House
People were selling animals in the temple. Jesus saw this and got angry. He chased everyone out, and told them, “Don’t make my Father’s house into a marketplace.”
“Show us a miracle. Prove
you are the Son of God,” said
the Jewish leaders. “Destroy this temple,” Jesus said, “and I will rebuild it in three days.”
Jesus meant that his own body was a
temple, and he would rise three days after being killed.
